Mythos Europe is a 3D, Action-Based Hybrid MMORPG that combines traditional MMORPG elements with fast-paced ‘hack and slash’ style gameplay.

Similar in style to Diablo and TorchLight, Mythos Europe will see you defeat hordes of enemy monsters while navigating dangerous, randomly-generated dungeons as one of four unique races, and 3 innovative MMORPG classes.

In true MMORPG style, Mythos Europe begins with by asking you to create your first character. Here, you’ll have a multitude of options at your disposal, beginning with a choice between one of four unique races: the Gremlin, Satyr, Human and Cyclops that all boast their own specific advantages. Next, you’ll choose between one of 3 more traditional class types: the Pyromancer, Bloodletter and Gadgeteer.

The Pyromancer, as the name suggests, is a master of fire and long range magic attacks who can kill multiple enemies in a single spell. The Bloodletter is the Warrior archetype, and uses short, melee range attacks in combination with a wide variety of weapons to inflict bloody carnage on all those stupid enough to stand in his path. Finally, the Gadgeteer excels in the use of long-range rifles and gadgets to set traps and inflict devastating damage on unsuspecting victims.

After choosing your class you’ll be given a number of aesthetic options, such as hair colour and facial features, before heading in-game to begin your first adventure. Here, you’ll be introduced to your very first quest, which will help give you a firm understanding of the most basic game mechanics offered in Mythos Europe, such as using skills, equipping new weapons and armour, and finding new friends to help you begin your first dungeon.

Dungeons are the heart of all ‘hack and slash’ style video games, and it’s no different here in Mythos Europe. All dungeons are generated randomly as you enter, as are the treasures and monsters hidden within, making each new encounter completely different from the last, and extending the life of the adventure a hundred fold. The difference here in Mythos Europe is that it’s fundamentally an MMORPG, meaning that instead of completing these dungeons alone, you’ll be able to do so with a group of like-minded adventurers, or even your real-life friends.
