Gameplay in KartRider will be similar to other online racing MMOs like Kart n Crazy and Come on Baby. All three games took their inspiration from Nintendo'€™s Mario Kart. KartRider is one of the most popular games in Korea today with a whopping 15,000,000 accounts in Korea alone. Around 25% of the entire Korean population has played KartRider at least once and if the game is that popular in Korea I'€™m optimistic that KartRider will be a success in North America as well. 15,000,000 Koreans can'€™t be wrong! KartRider actually launched into open beta in North America during in October 2007 but the open beta only lasted a brief period of time and the game'€™s open beta ended in the middle of Match. During the open beta, the game was a lot of fun, but the game's obvious drawback in open beta was the limited number of items available in the game'€™s. With a respectable company like Nexon behind KartRider, I'€™m confident that the game won'€™t disappoint.
